Shotlist

This is a post on the type of camera shots we intend to use within our thriller opening. It is key for us to plan to type of shots we have in mind as it will mean we will have a good organized structure of how we want to capture our opening in the most effective way possible.

Close up of Rosie's feet on the train tracks
Long shot of the Rosie balancing on the edge of the tracks
Close up of her playing by the tracks (with leaves)
Medium shot of Rosie sitting on rails by the edge of the tracks
Close up of Rosie's face
POV shot(s) of Nigel watching the Rosie
Possible binocular shot of Nigel watching the Rosie
Close up of Rosie's face again
Medium shot of Rosie turning round and discovering Nigel
Close up of Nigel taking Rosie by wrist
Two shot/tracking shot of Nigel ushering Rosie into courtyard of warehouse
Medium shot of Nigel about to close the door on Rosie
Close up of Rosie asking Nigel when they will go out again
Two shot of Nigel replying and shutting the door
Close up of Rosie's message at the deserted train tracks

As a group we believe these particular shots are suitable for the effects we are trying to create and capture within our thriller opening. These are also useful to look at when filming so we know what type of shot we are filming when.
