Meeting 1 - 8/11/11
Today we had our first group meeting. As a result of this meeting we have now published two group posts onto the blog, these are "The Opening Scenes of Se7en" and "The Da Vinci Code Opening". In these posts we looked at the sound, editing, mise en scene and camera shots within the openings of these two films. We believe this went well as we worked together to produce an analysis of all these areas successfully. We will use these posts to look back at, analyse and learn from when it comes to producing our very own thriller opening. We also put together a timetable containing all the media lessons and free study periods we have together in which we can meet up and discuss ideas and work on the blog. This will also be very useful for us to see when one-another is free so we can plan together effectively and efficiently.
